New paint job

I decided to paint my dinning room table yesterday, it was previously covered with marker and crayon and sharpie marks.  Now its a distressed chateau color.

lamps and lighting

I found a vintage tripod and decided it needed to be my new lamp.  It was the most frustrating project getting it wired and stable I found an old sewing spindle to use as the base then added one of my old cameras.

 

layers of art dipped in wax and clipped onto my frame- it replaces the stained glass shade my children broke.

This was my grandmas lamp it puts of a beautiful amber glow and I love it!

This one needed a lot of love

The top was coming off, the wood was cracking in several places, knobs were missing. I even replaced the typical mid century modern legs I thought it would be more versatile as a taller piece.
