Elegant Grey Dresser

This was a hard dresser because I could not decide what color to paint it.  In the beginning it was white so I thought  hey I could paint it green (I love green) but will it sell? I thought maybe blue or teal there are so many beautiful shades right now but that's more of a spring color.  I kept thinking I want it classy and the grey (elephant skin by Behr) I found went nicely with the glass knobs.  whenever I can't pick a color I just use all my favorite.  Well here it is in one color.

White Dresser

I painted this tall waterfall style dresser for my daughters room, she wanted a pink one but I thought this was pretty and nice.  I added some glass knobs and wood details and now its a whole lot fancier.  I don't usually paint things white its actually harder and you need more coats of paint to cover well (white shows every flaw) but anything for my baby!

Well its almost Thanksgiving and on this rainy blustery day I found some pictures and up-cycled projects that I hope you enjoy.

Cheese grater/pencil holder

 I wish that I could find some card catalog drawers, so awesome.

 This is such a great idea, too bad I my 100lb dog won't fit in a suitcase!

 I love this idea I just can't tell if its the whole suitcase or they just cut the front off and mounted it to a drawer.  I have to try this.  (The bucket lamp is cool too)

 Super fun vintage christmas display and functional too.  

 Im adding this to my list of lamp and chandelier projects I have to try.  so pretty!

My favorite fall colors, there is so much I could do with these. 

I love the angel wings on the chairs it's beautiful and whimsical, very angelic!

Too Many Dressers Not Enough Space

I found this dresser on craigslist, I love the style.  This is the second one I've seen in the last month but I got this for a great price and couldn't wait to redo it.  The original plan was to paint it and trade out my daughters dresser for this one but I liked it too much and since I am the only one it our family without a dresser I thought it should be mine.  Luckily I have another dresser in my garage that Im now really painting for my daughters room.
   Now the problem is....the dresser won't fit in my bedroom! (I WILL make it fit though)
