Ugly Desk Be Gone!!!

I rescued this desk from a neglected old house and unlike the  house I thought the desk could be saved.  I tried at first to save the green leather writing top but ugh it was an awful green and I just could do it.  It was also missing hardware but luckily I had some in the same style left from previous projects, I don't think anyone will notice that its not an exact match.  I painted the whole piece a deep dark blue and then dry brushed it with the color dragonfly by Behr.
