Vanity thy Name is...

I bought this super awesome vanity from my neighbor who made the mistake of having part of it showing out of his garage while I happened to be walking by.   It then proceeded to receive an Emily makeover.  I used Behr stonewashed for the white and added some grey(elephant skin) and teal (underwater) for detail.  I love how it looks like I just pulled it out of a french chateau and maybe even a little Moroccan.  I love all the detail it has although not easy to paint and the bench reupholster job wasn't easy either.

After

Yes the puppy makes it even sweeter

  3. That piece is so pretty--I am totally drawn to it. Lovely! Watch out for that sweet pup--I had a St Bernard pup once who ate the legs off my dining room table!

  19. This piece is exquisite. That was one tough piece to re-do... you had to bring every thing together or it would all be off... you really did a great job. The finish on the vanity is beautiful and the bench really adds some extra pizazz without taking away from the vanity itself. Some people would have made the wrong choices with a piece like this... you did not! She's divine!
