I love hunting for old used furniture that needs some love and attention the more neglected the better. I would love to share my creations and some of my inspiration with you.

It's a Revival
This was a sad old church pew that sat in someone' s back yard for 18 year's surviving: rain, sleet, hail, snow and sun. I love old pews I think they look great in foyers, on porches at dinning room tables, anywhere really... It was really hard for me not to make is some crazy color or colors but I kept it classic. I even found some nice wood details to add on to the ends for some extra visual interest. Now if only I could keep it, this will be a hard one to let go.
What an awesome makeover! Love it and it's amazing what great shape it's in for all the weather abuse it's been through! debbie (saw you at Your Talking too Much)
WOW, we have been looking for an old pew for sometime now. I found one but they wanted a fortune for it. Great score and great new look. Thanks for sharing.
18 years!? Wow! Someone out there is a either a real procrastinator or has no idea how valuable those pews are! You did a great job! I love the staging - good luck parting with it though!
Your pew turned out great! I can't believe someone left it outside like that. I have an old pew that I've had for a long time. It sits in our hallway now.
It's absolutely beautiful and your photos are awesome!! I would love for you to link up Thursday (actually it starts tonight) to It’s a Party! www.acreativeprincess.blogspot.com
