I love hunting for old used furniture that needs some love and attention the more neglected the better. I would love to share my creations and some of my inspiration with you.

A look so nice I painted it twice
I seem to be on a grey and yellow shriek lately, I can't help it the look just screams revived classic to me. But I have found myself thinking lately if in 20 years will there be someone's blog out there devoted to striping paint off of all the nice antique wood furniture I've devalued over the years!?! Anyway I still think its a vast improvement on a classic yet boring piece of furniture.
That is beautiful, a great improvement. I often think the same, I wonder if all the furniture we paint will be getting stripped back in years to come, lol! I look at it this way, alot of it wouldn't be around if it wasn't for us and our upcycling efforts, it would have been dumped instead...so we are doing a great thing :)
I think it's just gorgeous! I can't stand not to paint these lovely vintage pieces either. I've also wondered if in a few years people will be stripping what I've done! LOL
just wondering if you ever put tutorials on the steps to re-do'ing your cute cute furniture? Type/brand of paints, stains, sanders etc?? Would love to know!
This is very pretty and different than others like this I've seen -- I like how you kept the wood on the middle part and painted the 'top' and 'bottom' parts! Great job!
