These two old wood panels I found had so much character, holes, knots and the lines I thought they would be perfect as a head board. I used the color antique tin by behr a little distressing I mounted them to the wall so they would sit higher than the bed.

ReplyDeleteIt was a good decision for you to create some distressing on the paint. I think that the headboard is now the focal piece of the room. The lights really accentuate the headboard, giving the room more density. I think the headboard, together with the sheets, reacts against the lighter elements of the room, giving it more balance. Nice!
