Sapphire Dresser

Glass Sapphire is the behr color I used on this ugly brown dresser.  I liked the detail it had and I thought the blue helped brighten and add to the primitive look of the lines and handles.  I think it will fit nicely into your little cottage in the woods now!

A Whiter Shade of Pale

This might be one of my favorite Craigslist finds I really liked the size of the hutch not to big and all the drawers makes it really interesting.  I usually don't paint things white but I wanted to keep this one simple.

Bin Table Before and After

I got this great bin table (bread table) from a friend and boy,o boy it was in rough shape.  I used it as a storage table in my garage for about a month before I worked up the courage to tackle this project.  The major issue was the old linoleum glued to the top the metal trim was not so bad to get off but chipping away at the linoleum was kinda of a nightmare.  Well once I got it all off and sanded it down a bit the wood was nice in a rustic sort of way and with some stain and varnish it came out really nice.  I mixed my own blueish paint color for the bottom and then sanded it right back off for the distressed farm table look.

I actually tried something I saw On Pinterest

Up-cycled Project One
I used this old ladder as a shelf in my sons room, yes I saw the idea on Pinterest.  It actually worked out well and added some character to an ordinary boys room filled with space ships and dinos.

Up-cycled Project Number TWO!!!

These are two vintage tins that I turned upside down for light fixtures.  I drilled holes for the lights and also for the chandelier crystals.  I had this old swag light fixture but it was ugly brass color but with a little spray paint problem solved.
