Color Theme

I sometimes find myself painting everything the same color, I find something I love and I stick with it.  Right now its blues and greens the rich colors remind me that spring is coming and soon the colors will be everywhere again.

Mid-century Brady Bunch Redo

This is a typical 60's dark wood credenza not everyone's cup of tea anymore.  So the decision - to paint it keeping with the mid-century style or try and disguise it with pant and new hardware. 
 My solution a compromise I spray painted the original hardware and painted the curved details of the credenza.  I painted the majority white and the detail in blue grey then dry brushed the entire piece in elephant skin by Behr.

Primitive Kitchen Cabinet

Well now that the holidays are over and the kids are back in school its time to get back on the blogging train...

This is a really nice and very big (almost 7.5' tall) primitive cabinet that I think was hand made but then fell into disrepair as it lived in someones garage. I think it would fit right into any farm or cottage style kitchen.
