Mid-century Brady Bunch Redo

This is a typical 60's dark wood credenza not everyone's cup of tea anymore.  So the decision - to paint it keeping with the mid-century style or try and disguise it with pant and new hardware. 
 My solution a compromise I spray painted the original hardware and painted the curved details of the credenza.  I painted the majority white and the detail in blue grey then dry brushed the entire piece in elephant skin by Behr.
