I decided to go colorful and a little artsy on this old farmhouse dresser.  The top was in rough shape and it had its original hardware (that was a pain to remove) I decided to to keep the hardware I thought it went with the rustic look.

From Bee's Nest to the Bee's Knees

I got this old gun cabinet for $10 and yes the spider webs and bee's nest were free of charge.  I thought it would be cute in a kitchen with spices or in a mud room for coats and shoes.

I got this great coffee table its an old window, shadowbox table.  It was boring white so I thought it should be black distressed but that too seemed a little dull.  I found and old map and some french postcards and now its more interesting to look at.

This is a collection of really cool old houses with lots of character and even though they are super creepy and possibly haunted I would live in them anyway just so I could decorate.

Indian Summer

Well school just started (YEAH!) and  the yard sales are fading out.  The competition for furniture is really high where I live (with a resale shop on every corner)  Im really low on refinishing projects, and kinda stumped on where to search.  Craigslist is getting fierce and flee markets here are scarce, I guess I must venture to the bigger cities.  Anyway...
  I thought I would search for fall inspired projects and inspiration to share with you.
