Anyway I still think its a vast improvement on a classic yet boring piece of furniture.

I love hunting for old used furniture that needs some love and attention the more neglected the better. I would love to share my creations and some of my inspiration with you.
That is beautiful, a great improvement. I often think the same, I wonder if all the furniture we paint will be getting stripped back in years to come, lol! I look at it this way, alot of it wouldn't be around if it wasn't for us and our upcycling efforts, it would have been dumped instead...so we are doing a great thing :)

I love the circle of wood and how you repeated it at the bottom! So darling!
ReplyDeleteI think it's just gorgeous! I can't stand not to paint these lovely vintage pieces either. I've also wondered if in a few years people will be stripping what I've done! LOL
ReplyDeletejust wondering if you ever put tutorials on the steps to re-do'ing your cute cute furniture? Type/brand of paints, stains, sanders etc?? Would love to know!
ReplyDeleteYour table looks great! Wow!

This is very pretty and different than others like this I've seen -- I like how you kept the wood on the middle part and painted the 'top' and 'bottom' parts! Great job!
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique way to re-do this...well done!
